Join Solomon Jones and celebrity guests for a Red Carpet Book Premiere and Words on the Street launch at the beautiful Prince Music Theater on Oct. 16, 2012. Click for tickets.

You’ll walk the red carpet at the premiere of the exciting new crime novel, The Dead Man’s Wife.You’ll be photographed by paparazzi, dine on gourmet hors d’oeuvres and mingle with celebrity guests. And you’ll be there to make a difference for the student writers from Words on the Street. Your ticket includes a personally autographed hardcover edition of The Dead Man’s Wife, a cocktail reception, and an exclusive first look at a film trailer based on the book. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter.

The Dead Man’s Wife lists Bartram High School, Camden High School, Fels High School, Mastery Charter/ Shoemaker Campus, Randolph High School, and South Philadelphia High School in its acknowledgements. A student from each school was awarded a cash prize and will be published in the Philadelphia Inquirer after participating in the Words on the Street literacy program. Book premiere attendees will learn how they can help local students in the program’s next phase.
